Everything you want to know about CheckDesk before you start.
Do I need an existing website to use CheckDesk?
No. CheckDesk installs on any PHP server and works completely independently. If you already have a WordPress site or another CMS, CheckDesk sits alongside it without interfering. If you don't have a website yet, we can build it together with the CheckSuite package — website + management system, turnkey.
Will it work on my current hosting?
Yes, in almost all cases. CheckDesk only requires PHP — no database, no framework, no external dependencies to install. It works on any shared hosting, VPS or dedicated server with PHP enabled. If you have doubts about your specific hosting, write to us before buying — we'll tell you right away whether it is compatible.
Do I need technical skills to manage it?
No. We take care of the installation and initial setup. Once it is running, you manage everything from the admin panel — rooms, bookings, rates, payments — without touching any file and without any technical skills. If you can use a smartphone, you can use CheckDesk.
Does it sync with Airbnb and Booking.com?
Yes, via iCal feeds. Booked dates update automatically on all channels, removing the risk of overbooking. You can import calendars from Airbnb and Booking.com and at the same time export your calendar to sync it with any other platform. iCal sync is available from the Premium plan.
Can I enter bookings manually?
Yes. From the admin panel you can enter bookings that came in by phone, email or in person, with all the guest's details, dates and price. Every manual booking automatically blocks the calendar and is tracked in the activity history.
Are online payments secure?
Yes. Payments are processed through Stripe, the same system used by millions of companies worldwide. CheckDesk never touches credit card data — everything goes directly through Stripe, securely and PCI DSS certified.
You can choose to accept a percentage deposit, the full balance, or let the guest pay at the property on arrival. The choice of payment method can be configured for each individual room.
Does CheckDesk take commissions on my bookings?
No. CheckDesk applies no commission on bookings. You only pay for the plan you choose: monthly, annual or a one-off licence. The only fees that apply are Stripe's standard fees on online transactions (about 1.4% + €0.25 per European card), which Stripe charges directly to your account.
You can choose to accept a percentage deposit, the full balance, or let the guest pay at the property on arrival. The choice of payment method is yours and can be configured for each individual room.
Where do my data and my guests' data end up?
They stay on your hosting, under your control. CheckDesk does not send data to external servers, has no access to your panel and shares nothing with third parties. Your guests are yours — nobody else's. You can export all the data as CSV, XLS or ZIP at any time.
What if I need support after installation?
Every plan includes a period of direct email support: 30 days for the Lite plan, 60 days for Premium and Business. After that, ongoing support is available with CheckCare at €39/month — updates, support and maintenance included. We won't disappear after delivery.

Can I buy the source code without depending on the monthly fee?
Yes. The source licence starts from €23,000 and gives you the complete CheckDesk v1.23.0 code to install and manage on your own hosting, without depending on us for updates. No future fees, no subscription.
The licence covers a single authorised domain and includes 90 days of direct support for installation and initial setup. Signing the licence agreement (EULA) is mandatory before delivery.

Can I install the code on other websites?
The standard source licence does not include the right of resale or multiple installations. If you are an agency or freelancer and want to offer CheckDesk to your clients, Agency licences are available from €32,000 — write to us for a tailored quote.
